A Birthday Waterfall!

As you can see, I am really loving the Waterfall cards. I love how easy they are and what an impact they have. For this one, I used my flower from Friendship Blooms. I stamped it 4 times. You can't really see it, but flowers are accented with my gelly roll pen as well as rhinestones in the center. I used rub-ons from Karen Foster to add the phrases to each panel. The green panel has "Happy Birthday" on it. I found this designer paper in my scrap box. (I believe it is from Die Cuts with a View.) Added the brads and eyelet to complete it.

Birthday Flowers!

Here is the gift that I wrapped for my co-worker (& friend) Virginia. I got this set awhile ago (Paper Salon - Celebrate) and really haven't played with it. I love how the flowers look, so I made my own designer paper. I love how all the colors came together. It is so bright and cheery. She is one of my creative inspirations. (She is an AVID scrapbooker) so I always like to make something beautiful for her (mostly because she can truly appreciate the work involved). I got the bag in a pack of 12 for only $5.99 at Target (50 cents a piece) They also have medium weight chipboard coasters 20 for $1. I love the dollar spot at Target.

Here is also a close-up of the card (a waterfall card). This is only my second one and I love how easy they come together and what an impact they make.

Supplies: So Saffron, Certainly Celery, Real Red & Not Quite Navy Paper & Inks - Stampin' Up; Celebrate Stamps - Paper Salon; Simple Alphabets - Papertrey Ink; Red Floral Ribbon - Michaels (Dollar bin)

I made this card for my Husband's boss. She recently had to put her puppy to sleep because it was really sick. I am a huge animal lover, so I was heartbroken to hear about it. I don't have anything for sympathy, so I used this stamp so she would know she was in our thoughts. I used my Prismas and Gamsol on the stamp to shade it in and matted it on So Saffron and Old Olive. The So Saffron was run through my Cuttlebug. I then stamped Versamark on the panel and painted on some Pearl ex powder in Glitter Gold.

Anniversary Part Two!

Here is the card I made for my in-laws anniversary. I recently got some Prismas and Gamsol and have been playing with it. This is from the Merci set, but I love the heart/flower. I used So Saffron, perfect plum and Old Olive. I cut out the front rectangle with my coluzzle and the Happy Anniversary is a rub-on. They were in Hawaii for their anniversary so I don't know if they have seen it, but hope they like it.

Happy Anniversary!

I used the instructions on Splitcoaststampers.com for Cami's trifold card. I LOVE how it turned out. I used Perfect Plum and Mellow Moss (it looks grey in this picture.) Used my Coluzzle to cut out the heart on the front panel and used my Simply Said set to stamp all the hearts. The button brads on the side are from Making Memories. The flower on the front is from the Bride's collection. They come in white and off white, but I dipped this one into my mellow moss stamp pad and add the rhinestone (also from Bride's collection) It is for my Parents Annivesary. They have been married for 33 years.
I was hit with a double whammy (my in-laws anniversary is also this month. I will post their cards tomorrow.)

Second picture is what the inside looks like when you open it. I used my Simple Alphabet from Papertrey Ink to stamp the Anniversary.

Grandmothers Birthday!

I made this for my Grandmother's birthday. She loves her flower garden, so I tried to recreate it. I used the stamps from Papertrey's Green Thumb include the sentiment that I love. I stamped the biggest flower in versamark on the So Saffron panel and sprinkled glitter on it. The sentiment is stamped in Craft Whisper White and embossed. I found this satin ribbon at Target in the wedding section that perfectly matches Old Olive.

Mom's Birthday!

This is a little late, but here is the card I made for my mom's birthday. I used the slot punch to hold in the Bashful Blue Cuttlebugg'd cardstock. The center stamped flower is from So Many Scallops. The outer flowers were die cut with my cuttlebug. The brown ribbon is from Target (in the wedding section) and matches the choc chip cardstock. The base card is Old Olive.
